About
Nellie is a 50lb, spayed female, BMC rescue from Houston, TX. Her birthday is April 20th and she’ll be turning 5 this year! She loves dirt and digging, running and being chased, all the treats and snacks, and knows a few very, very simple tricks. She’s very confident and is comfortable on bridges and rocks. Absolutely loves people and will lick you to death. She gets along with most dogs no problem - she’s besties with some Bernese Mountain Dogs, a Westie Terrier, and a mini poodle. Nellie’s one health issue is being allergic to chicken (hives), but duck is safe! Since she’s food motivated and intelligent, she’s can learn any trick if mom (me) is smart enough to teach her. Her favorite enrichment toy is a snoop ball. She’s really good at playing dead, down, jumping onto surfaces, and we’re working on barking/speaking on command. Her brother is an 8-month old, white kitten named Nimbus and they get along really well!
