About: Cognac – Therapy Dog & Canine Talent Cognac is a 2.5 year-old dark golden retriever with a warm personality and an impressive track record as both a certified therapy dog and a canine talent. He has been certified through the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program and is an active Certified Therapy Dog for the past two years. AKC Trick Titles TKN & TKI Novice & Intermediate. While Cognac has extensive experience engaging with children ages 8 and up, as well as teens, adults, and elderly individuals. He consistently demonstrates calm, friendly behavior in a variety of settings. Cognac is social with other dogs, though his interactions are typically kept at a respectful 2–4 foot distance in accordance with therapy dog protocols. Recently, Cognac completed his first commercial and photo shoot with a major company, where he performed exceptionally well. He is comfortable in environments with loud noises, such as bowling alleys, and accompanies his handler in many different public spaces. Cognac lives harmoniously with three other dogs—a 1.5-year-old golden retriever, a 3-year-old pug, and a 4-year-old French bulldog.
